Free concert: 'Jazz, Jeans & Jesus,' Capleville UMC, Memphis

Capleville UMC in Memphis is hosting its Second Annual “Jazz, Jeans and JESUS" Concert Saturday, May 5, at 5 p.m. at the church.
Admission is FREE. Donations will be accepted. Funds raised will go to church missions.
“This evening of inspirational music, jazz, refreshments and fellowship will feature the Capleville Praise Team and friends performing original contemporary gospel music composed by our own Dr. Charles Pender from his CD released in 2002, “Not To Us.” And (there will be) a cool, cool jazz set featuring Charles Pender and the ‘The Grand Staff’ Jazz Combo,” reported Linda Crump, a representative of the church.
Everyone is welcome to enjoy this wonderful musical experience, said Crump.
