Three appointments announced for 2011-12

Three appointment changes for 2011-12 were announced this past week by the Memphis Conference Cabinet on behalf of Bishop Richard J. (Dick) Wills, Jr.
The Rev. Harry D. Durbin, Sr., current Senior Pastor at Collierville UMC in Collierville, TN, will become Director of Clergy Leadership Development and Denominational Initiatives in the Center for Excellence in Faith and Health at Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare in Memphis.
The Rev. J. Barry Henson, current Superintendent for the McKendree District (Memphis), will follow Durbin as Senior Pastor at Collierville UMC.
The Rev. Cynthia D. Davis, current Senior Pastor at Friendship UMC in Millington, TN, will follow Henson as Superintendent of the McKendree District (Memphis).
These appointments will be effective following Annual Conference in June.
