Lakeshore United Methodist Assembly
Lakeshore Methodist Assembly has a treasured history of shaping the lives of children, youth and adults. As the official camping facility of the Memphis Annual Conference, the camp is located on the banks of beautiful Kentucky Lake (Tennessee River). The mission of Lakeshore is to provide an experience of Christian community in a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where Christ is at the center and the created world is enjoyed with the respect God intended. The summer program offeres 37 different camps for people of all ages. Specialty camps include Wilderness Camp, Water Sports, Camp Hope, Developmentally Disabled Youth and Adult Camps, Music Camp(s) and Drama Camp, as well as many other camping opportunities related to specific groups and/or interests. Exceptional facilities for groups include a high ropes course and a water park, featuring a "lazy river."
