United Methodist Men:
Helping men grow in Christ,
so that others may know Christ.

Ministry Partners of United Methodist Men

Man In The Mirror: This program promotes leadership and discipleship development. Build a sustainable men's ministry in your local church. The Bible tells us, "Go and make disciples…baptizing them." Often we get this confused with, "Go and make workers… browbeating them."  Too often we set the agenda for our ministry and then pester men to be involved. Instead, we ought to make disciples and then pray that God leads them to a place of service.

Letters from Dad: Outreach and in reach (within your local church) to men. Your journey of faith, hope, and love begins as you work through the Letters from Dad curriculum. You will learn to write 5 specific types of letters, and what it means to give THE BLESSING to your wife, children and grandchildren.

Wesleyan Building Brothers Building Brothers' desire is to serve the local church by assisting them in developing a leadership core of men who are pursing God, becoming spiritual fathers and are capable of reproducing that pursuit in the lives of other men within the church. A key element in this reproduction process is establishing a clearly defined pathway within the church to lead men from spiritual immaturity to spiritual fatherhood and developing leaders who can minister to others.

Scouting Ministries: Why is Scouting in The United Methodist Church? Nurturing children, teens, and families through outreach and evangelism and incorporating them into the life of the church may have tremendous, eternal results for the youth, their family, and the church. Scouting may be the ONLY connection some young boys and men have with the church.

Society of Saint Andrew: Since its founding in 1979, the Society of St. Andrew has worked to fulfill the mandate of the Gospel by striving to adhere to the words of I John 3:18: "Let us love not only in words, but in deed and in truth." The mission of the Society of Saint Andrew is to introduce people to God's grace in Jesus Christ through meeting their hungers: Food for the body, God's word for the spirit, Community of love for the heart, Opportunity for those who desire action. The Potato Project and Meals for Millions are supported by UMMen.

Tennessee Hunters for The Hungry: Memphis Conference UMMen have furnished hundreds of thousand of servings of nutritious red meat to the needy through this ministry. Local hunters harvest local deer for local residents who don't have enough to eat. Only $40 will pay to have one deer (approximately 40 pounds of venison) processed. Many West Tennessee soup kitchens have benefited from donations by United Methodists.
